ROY ALLEN JOHNSON MEMORIAL RANGE

IN MEMORY OF ROY ALLEN JOHNSON
MAY 22, 1929 - JULY 26, 1982

Roy devoted most of his adult life to the shooting sports. He was dedicated to the task of developing the NRA Whittington Center to the end that a permanent home be established and maintained for this great american heritage. The naming of this range in his honor is assurance that all who pass here will recognize roy as a giant among men. May his eternal rest be comforted with the cert- ain knowledge that the sport he loved so well will be preserved for future generations because he cared. This monument placed in the year of our lord 1984 by the Roy A. Johnson memorial fund. Fort Bliss Rod and Gun Club, Fort Bliss, Texas.
