The .22 BPCRA National Championship is a premier competitive shooting event held annually at the NRA Whittington Center in Raton, New Mexico. Organized by the 22 Black Powder Cartridge Rifle Association, this three-day national silhouette match brings together riflemen and women from across the country to compete using classic single-shot .22 Black Powder Cartridge Rifles in a challenging and family-friendly environment. Shooters engage steel silhouette targets at distances scaled for .22 caliber competition, blending historic rifle traditions with modern sport shooting.

Come stay with us! The general public is welcome to stay at the Whittington Center. There is a broad range of housing to accommodate individuals, couples, and small to large groups.
Shooters can take part in competitive shooting, rifle and pistol silhouette, bullseye disciplines, and even black powder muzzle-loading rifles.
