The newly remodeled Legacy Cabins provide a more private experience. Designed for an individual or single family, the living area includes 2 twin bunk beds and a sleeper couch that conceals a queen sized bed, a spacious countertop with a coffeepot and microwave, and a small refrigerator. In addition, the cabin also boasts one private bedroom with a full sized bed and bathroom. Free Wi-Fi.
How do I make reservations?
NRA Whittington Center reservations may be made by calling 1-800-494-4853 or 575-445-3615. A credit or debit card is needed. A deposit for your first night is required, fully refundable if cancelled not later than 48 hours before start date.
How do I make group reservations?
Group reservations for four or more rooms require a 50% deposit of the full amount. They may be made by telephone or online (subject to approval by Whittington staff). Any person or group reserving a block of rooms must provide full names and contact information (including email) for the actual persons staying in, and financially responsible for, each room or campsite not later than ten (10) days prior to reservations start date, or they will be canceled and made available to other guests.
What are the Check-in and Check-out times?
Check in is at 2:00 PM; check out time is 10:00 AM. Fees apply for late checkout unless specifically approved by staff. $10 fee for lost keys. All guests must check in at the front gate before proceeding to your lodging or campsite; vehicle information is required to receive entry pass. Everyone in the party over 18 must have completed the online liability waiver, and all minors must be included on the responsible adult's form.
What is included? Do I need to bring anything?
Sheets, blankets and pillows are included with all lodging, although Log Cabin guests sometimes prefer to bring their own sleeping bags. No towels, washcloths or soap are provided, with exception of the Brownell suites.

All Whittington buildings are non-smoking. Violators will be charged a $250 cleaning fee. During high fire risk periods, outdoor smoking outside of vehicles is not permitted, and no outdoor fires of any kind are allowed. These restrictions are mandated by New Mexico Statutes.
Are there any restrictions?
All housing units, cabins and classrooms on the Whittington Center are designated non-smoking areas. BBQ grills are also prohibited inside any of these buildings as well as on the porches of the housing units. Please check with our Gate staff at the time of your stay for the most up-to-date information on any fire ban that might be currently in place.
Additional information about RV and tent camping?
RV and Primitive camping reservations made online may be changed by the person who originally made the reservation, up to 48 hours prior to reservation start date. Phone reservations may be modified only by Whittington reservations staff.
What is the cancellation policy?
Lodging and camping reservations may be cancelled online or by telephone, at no penalty, up to 48 hours before start date; cancellations after this cutoff will be charged for the first night’s stay. Whittington U. course reservations must be cancelled 30 days prior to course start date.
