NRA Whittington Center- 1,000 Yard range (High Power Rifle Range); UKD Red Course
The Barrett Long Range 1 Shooting Course is a three-day immersive training experience designed to build a strong foundation in long-range rifle marksmanship. This course covers essential principles, including firearms safety, rifle setup, shooting fundamentals, ballistic theory, data collection, and rifle maintenance. Participants will engage steel targets at distances out to 1,000 yards while receiving expert instruction in both classroom and live-fire environments.
Shooters will gain hands-on experience with Barrett rifle platforms and develop the skills and confidence needed for successful long-range shooting. This course is well-suited for both new and experienced shooters, as well as those new to long-range shooting. Lunch is provided each day, with lodging available separately.

Shooters can take part in competitive shooting, rifle and pistol silhouette, bullseye disciplines, and even black powder muzzle-loading rifles.
