NRA Whittington Center Coors Range
Join the Rio Grande Benchrest Best of the West Match at the NRA Whittington Center, an official competition under the National Bench Rest Shooters Association (NBRSA). This match is part of the Mid-Continent Region’s official 2026 schedule and draws competitive benchrest shooters aiming for exceptional precision and performance at 100 and 200-yard distances.
Benchrest shooting challenges competitors to achieve the smallest possible groups through disciplined technique, meticulous rifle setup, and carefully tuned ammunition—making it one of the most exacting rifle sports. Competitors in various classes including Light Varmint (LV) and Heavy Varmint (HV) will compete under NBRSA rules in a friendly yet competitive environment.

Come stay with us! The general public is welcome to stay at the Whittington Center. There is a broad range of housing to accommodate individuals, couples, and small to large groups.
Shooters can take part in competitive shooting, rifle and pistol silhouette, bullseye disciplines, and even black powder muzzle-loading rifles.
